Race2Recovery
Iowans Helping Iowans through the 2008 Floods

The recent weather has left many of our fellow Iowans without food, water, or even a decent place to live. While this has been a terrible ordeal for thousands, Iowans have already begun lending a helping hand and letting the flood and tornado victims know they are not alone. It is during these hardships when we can make a difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors.

Race2Recovery is a non-profit tax-exempt foundation that is raising money for flood, tornado and other disaster victims in Iowa. With several well-known Iowa-based businesses coordinating the Race2Recovery efforts, donors can be assured the funds raised will go directly to aid local communities as they begin to rebuild.

Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 before September 20, 2008 and we need your help.

Please make a tax-exempt donation today and help Iowa’s communities Race 2 Recovery.

100% Donations dispensed to local organizations

All funds raised will be deposited into a special Race2Recovery account and will be disbursed to local organizations that are at disaster sites providing direct relief. This includes churches, American Legion chapters, local food banks and fire departments among others. By working with local community organizations and foundations, Race2Recovery hopes to provide significant aid to local residents affected by this series of tragic disasters.

If you feel your organization could use this type of assistance, please let us know. Funds will be disbursed after September 20, 2008.
