The team traveled down to the south of France to participate in the Dunes et Marais. As you can see, there were no dunes. But as it was wet, and muddy, we were well in our own element and we finished 57th overall and 2nd in class! Check out all our photos by reading more...
The sixth and final round of the Britpart British Cross Country Championship will be held in Walters Arena, Glynneath, South Wales over 13-14 Oct 2012. The team will be present throughout and it will be a fantastic finale to a long and difficult season with Chris Ratter and Barney Gillespie looking to lead a late charge in the Freelander Championship against the rival challenger Nick Lines who has produced a consistent display this year and looks set to take the trophy.
When the Race2Recovery team competed in Morocco in March 2012 it was their first international test and for many of the team members it was their first desert race too. For the wounded team members this was also going to be their first time back in the desert since they were injured.

The Dakar is an incomparable human adventure whose history has been built in the finest deserts of the planet, it is amongst the major sporting challenges of our age. Taking part in the Dakar is more or less a competitor’s equivalent of climbing Everest, sailing round the world or rowing round the earth.
